My name is Wilson Vaz, ‘Will’ to many, and UZADU is something I came up with in 2020. It’s a living and breathing representation of all things me. UZADU means ‘used’ in my native Cape Verdean Kriolu. ‘Un Vida UZADU’: do it all. Use up your life. That is the ethos and idea of my life.

Photography, writing, and hosting experiences that bring people together. I capture stories of resilience and quiet beauty — always honoring my Cape Verdean roots and the voices that shaped me. Since 2021, my podcast Space & Time has explored creativity, growth, and everything in between.
Guidance
6 years specializing in life insurance and money guidance. I help people protect what matters and make major financial decisions with clarity — drawing from real experience as a real estate & overall investor and someone who understands that money is personal, the attention should be as well.
Products & Design
Curated pieces — new and upcycled — in the shop. Some celebrate Cape Verdean heritage, others are simply beautiful finds I hope someone else will love. Reducing waste while sharing beauty is part of how UZADU got its name.
